Maple-Based Learning from your Mobile Device

You know Maple is a powerful teaching and learning software tool, but you also know students expect to be able to access learning materials from their phones. Ideally, you want to make the power of Maple available to your students from their mobile devices.

Maplesoft offers two different ways to help students learn math from the phone or tablet.

Maple Calculator App

With the free Maple Calculator app, your students can improve their mathematical understanding and get help with their math homework. They can check answers to problems from algebra, precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and more, using their phone's camera. And you and your students can also use the Maple Calculator to bring the math that is right in front of you into Maple, where you can access the full power of Maple for solving, visualizing, and exploring your math.

MathApps and MapleCloud

With the MapleCloud, you and your students can access interactive Maple applications using only a standard web browser, from a computer, phone, tablet, or any web-enabled device.

The MapleCloud contains hundreds of interactive MathApps ready for use, covering topics from calculus, functions and graphing, vectors and matrices, statistics, physics, algebra, and more.  MathApps use a point-and-click approach that makes it easy to visualize and experiment with mathematical concepts, even if you don’t know Maple.  You can use these Math Apps in your classes and direct your students to them for additional learning.

See MathApps for Students for more examples, or visit the MapleCloud and explore the entire collection.

But you aren’t limited to the applications already available in the MapleCloud. With Maple, it is easy to create your own interactive MathApps. You can then share these applications on the MapleCloud, either publicly or privately, so your students can learn from MathApps designed specifically for your courses.
